EC21.com was founded in 1997 as an online trade board of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). In 2000, EC21 Inc. was spun off from KITA. Since then, it has focused on offering global business opportunities to small and medium enterprises all over the world. The company has grown to become one of the world’s leading global B2B marketplaces, with a million members and more than four million visitors each month.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary and to become more competitive in the online B2B marketplace, EC21.com has renewed its corporate identity.
The new corporate logo with icon represents a ship sailing out to sea. It can also be interpreted as a wing flying into the sky. This new icon symbolizes the global leadership and endless imagination of EC21. The shape of globe in the EC21 name reflects the company philosophy of “Making a flourishing marketplace for companies all over the world”.
