Office Supplies purchased on behalf of The Home Office will change from January 1st 2006.A new ERP system has (Adelphi) been implemented and goods can only be purchased in the following methods.
Orders Generated direct from the Adelphi system.
The Government Procurement Card (Which is essentially a Visa Card)
Jon Dodd the Commercial Director of this project has stated "All Purchase orders without a PO Number will be returned"
We are pleased to announce the launch of our compliance with these rules set out by the Government. Our office supplies side of this at http://www.london-office-supplies.co.uk is now live and all Government bodies and institutions can now use this online service.
As of January the 1st all home office supplies can be purchased direct and online within our new system. You no longer require to select a credit card type but can also select a Government P.O. This also applies to the Scottish executive and schools, Colleges and NHS departments.
We will continue to develop our online system to give access to other bodies such as the BBC and other media companies in the course of the next few months.
We would like to apologise those UK companies that are still paying excessive prices from other U.K office supplies companies. The good news is you will be able to buy our office products buy Purchase Order as of 1st January 2006. With a full launch of our B2B service in Feb 2006.
