NEW JERSEY--StainTalk, Delta Carbona's social media community, has exhibited exciting growth since its inception in early March of 2010. In late April, StainTalk created the Cleaning Heroes Club to provide subscribers with relevant news, cleaning tips, promotions and coupons. The first 10,000 members were offered free samples of the Carbona Color Grabber.

Carbona's Color Grabber cloths protect clothes from color runs that stem from mixed-color loads of laundry. The sheet attracts and immobilizes loose dyes in the wash water, rendering them unable to redeposit on other clothes. The Color Grabbers also eliminate the need to separate loads by colors, thus saving both valuable time and money.

"We really enjoyed being able to give away free samples of a quality product that will improve the lives of anyone who has ever lost valuable time separating laundry loads," said Stefan Monz, business development director for Delta Carbona. "We hope to introduce more sample programs in the future and continue to expand Carbona's presence as the brand of choice for any customer, from college students and bachelors to busy parents and retirees."

Members who received samples were also given the ability to directly express their opinion via a survey.

"We were able to learn exactly what our members are interested in and how they see Carbona products fitting into their daily cleaning routine," said Klaus Holzapfel, managing partner of conceptbakery USA. "People genuinely liked both the product and the StainTalk initiative."

StainTalk uses the opportunities of multiple social networks to harness the existing conversation Carbona has with its clients to deliver a virtual repository of cleaning tips and tricks, as well as a look at the lighter side of creating and removing stains.
