Energy advisors of Tyrolean Energy Utilities welcome further education offer

Life long learning is not only a general approach, in the Tyrol, it is implemented in a very active way. The energy advisors of the Tyrolean Energy utilities TIWAG, IKB, EW-Reute und Energie West took part in a further education day in the field of heat pump technology, in October 2006.
The TIWAG organised in cooperation with the imitative klima:aktiv “wärmepumpe”, that education day themed “The heat pump – a substantial part of a sustainable energy scenario - status quo and future outlook. Lecturers of the Austrian research centre arsenal research presented a compact overview – which was based on the training programme for certified heat pump installers.
“As the demand for heat pumps rose rapidly in the Tyrol and we do want to consult our customers properly. Due to that reasons, we offer our energy advisors further education possibilities on a regular basis, tells Mr. Elmar Schneitter, coordinator of the Tyrolean further education day.
Last year, 6.100 heat pumps for space heating were sold in Austria, thereof 200 in the Tyrol. “Within the framework of the programme klima:aktiv “wärmepumpe”, we plan to offer a far ranging information campaign for end-users regarding heat pump technology. Due to that, we expect to increase heat pump sales in Tyrol up to 400 units per year”, tells Andreas Bangheri, head of the Austrian Heat Pump Association (LGWA)

The Austrian Heat Pump Association manages the programm klima:aktiv wärmepumpe (www.waermepumpe.klimaaktiv.at). The aim of the programme is, to spread information regaring heat pump technology amoing endusers and other relevant stakeholders.
