Mock Fire-cum-Evacuation Drill held at Ceinsys Tech Ltd., Nagpur

As part of Disaster Management initiatives, a mock response Fire cum Evacuation Drill of staff was organised at Ceinsys Tech Ltd., Nagpur on October 11, 2018 as part of the ongoing Disaster Week.
Mr. Keshav Kothe, Assistant Station Officer from Nagpur Fire and Emergency Department from Nagpur Municipal Corporation gave valuable information to the office staff, regarding actions and precautions to be taken in case of fire emergency.

Also various techniques on how to evacuate any injured, trapped staff, how to support, carry a person to safe zone, how to inform the staff of fire emergency. The staff were informed about all types of fires, fire extinguishers. The staff have practically used the fire extinguishers to put off a mock fire.

Mock drill was successfully completed under observation of Mr. Rajendra Uchake, Chief Fire Officer, Mr. Keshav Kothe, Assistant Station Officer, were ably supported by Mr. Sunil Raut, Assistant Station Officer, Mr. Chandrapal Shambharkar, Leading Fireman Rescuer, Mr. Sitaram Dhahalkar & Mr. Vinod Jadhav, Fireman Rescuer and a Trainee.

The mock drill was practically enacted, by lighting up of fire, informing the staff about the fire, raising fire alarm and whistle, informing the fire brigade and hospital for ambulance about the incident. Then some persons were carried down via the techniques demonstrated. Even the injured persons were administered with first aid, thereafter the mock drill concluded. Ms. Astha Shukla, Vice President – HR & Admin, was instrumental in organising the event which was ably supported by Mr. Hemant Thakre, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Singh, Director (Finance) & Chief Finance Officer. Also present were Mr. Ashton Lawrie, Mr. Ganesh Bhoyar, Mr. Aditya Tiwari and other Staff Members from Ceinsys.
