In 1988, a small group of professionals started 3CMA (City-County Communications & Marketing Association) and launched the first Savvy Awards competition to recognize outstanding local government achievements in communications, marketing, engagement, and creativity.

Thirty years later, the internet has revolutionized the way cities communicate, and the Savvy Awards have become a leading indicator of what works best in municipal website design. Which is precisely why Revize could not be prouder to have had two clients recognized with Savvy Awards in the Digital Interactive category for Best Overall Website.

In the medium-size category (cities with populations of 61,000 ­ 180,000), the Savvy Award was given to the City of Largo, FL. The Revize-designed website for this lovely Gulf Coast community has a breezy, tropical feel while being feature packed and incredibly easy to navigate. The site incorporates many of Revize’s most popular apps including online permits and forms, meeting notices, events calendar and many others.

Among smaller cities (with populations up to 60,000), the Savvy Award was given to the Anthem Community Council in Arizona. Described by Parenting Magazine as one of the best places to raise a family, the Anthem Community Council needed a website as robust as the community it serves. The Revize-designed site has a comprehensive directory for visitors, and allows residents and businesses in Anthem to complete a variety of transactions online including activities registration, bill pay and more.
