Ready Containment, LLC Donates Marine Fuel Bladders to Mote Marine Laboratory

(Palmetto, Fla., Sept. 7, 2018)— As part of its ongoing commitment to the environment and ocean sustainability, Ready Containment LLC., a leader in providing innovative bladder tanks and spill berm containment, has donated two 150-gallon marine fuel bladders to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium to provide much-needed support to their world-class research and conservation efforts.

Scott Sagalow, president of Ready Containment, LLC., contacted Mote to see how his company could assist with research. Facilities staff at Mote suggested that Ready Containment’s high-quality marine bladders could enhance the capacity of boats used for Mote’s many marine activities, such as research and marine animal rehabilitation and release.

The Ready Containment marine fuel bladders are designed to extend cruising range as a secondary fuel reserve and can be quickly deployed to provide greater fuel capacity. When they are not in use, the fully collapsible compact design enables them to fold away for easy storage.

“As a nonprofit marine research institution, Mote Marine Laboratory conducts much of its research on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico,” says Dean Dougherty, Senior Captain, Marine Operations. “These bladders will increase the range of Research Vessels Eugenie Clark and William R Mote by 150 and 240 miles, respectively. We are grateful for Ready Containment’s in-kind support to allow Mote to conduct longer, more efficient research trips as we work to better understand our oceans.”
