OPENMINDS21 – the German Initiative – coming to the Gulf
“Business success in the 21st century will strongly depend on innovative and open-minded thinking.” says Karin Bauer, founder of the initiative. “With our initiative we want to create a new form of thinking business. I am happy that we could win some distinguished and high-calibre academics and professionals to support our idea and come up with a unique form of master classes. The fact that the number of participants is strictly limited to 12 and that we offer one- and two-day master classes only will ensure that our events are inspiring but also very challenging.”
With 3 unique master classes OPENMINDS21 wants to raise entrepreneurial behavior and support innovation and creativity in business life:
“values4wealth” shows how values can influence business. Participants will learn how to incorporate a value-oriented system into an organization and understand how the benefits of non-financial values can be measured. Borders between social and business entrepreneurs will become blurred.
In “the playmaker” participants will learn how to develop playmaker skills like entrepreneurial intuition and thinking beyond existing borders. After defining the field position one will be able to influence the business game with team spirit and passion. From a playmakers’ point of view it is possible to sensitively perceive and actively shape the business environment.
“transform2success” is introducing techniques how to develop a unique business strategy focusing on the challenges of the 21st century. Participants will understand how megatrends shape the business future and see how successful entrepreneurs create new markets instead of competing in existing markets.
OPENMINDS21 will start its programme on 29 April in Abu Dhabi and visit the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait in the course of this year. Further details about the programme can be found under www.openminds21.org.
OPENMINDS21 is a German initiative of distinguished entrepreneurs, academics, managers and consultants to develop innovative business concepts. Through a combination of state-of-the-art scientific knowledge and senior practical experience a new form of master classes for entrepreneurs has been designed.
