System Management for SAP Solutions Revisited
RealTime-Monitoring Overview and Details of syslink Xandria 4.6
Connectivity to SAP systems is now monitored from a user's perspective as well, even from remote sites. In the same way availability data and system response times are recorded. Together with the locally collected performance indicators the data is contained in the SLR. This dual-type reporting options will be interesting first of all for Outsourcing and Service Providers in the SAP area.
The new XanMobile iPhone App provides mobile access to syslink Xandria 4.6 installations. It displays a comprehensive status overview of all monitored SAP landscapes and supports immediate reactions on critical incidents.
Another new function allows to create operating procedures or problem resolution guides directly in the application, or to attach or reference existing ones. This allows for instance the SAP Basis team to provide an operating procedure that the operations team can follow in case of a problem.
Finally there was a major rework on the web-based user interface to enhance usability and to allow personalization more easily.
