Redwood Plastics Aids in LEED® Certification for Elite Property in Vancouver, BC
Redwood Plastics Supplies Recycled Lumber to Elite Property
The buyer of the property is making every effort to conform to the LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards for building “green”, including solar panels and the use of recycled materials in the construction process – such as Redco™ Greenplus (FiberForce ®). LEED Canada certifies construction according to the buildings site development, water and energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
Redwood Plastics is a distributor of FiberForce ® which is made from a high quality recycled HDPE (primarily milk jugs). Roughly 307 milk jugs are diverted from landfills for each 2"x6"x12' board. The Redco™ Green product line includes a variety of recycled plastic products for construction, mechanical and industrial applications.
