Zenjob makes it possible to sign work contracts via smartphone

Berlin, August 22, 2018: No longer will work contracts be scanned, sent and faxed at the on-demand staffing platform Zenjob: As the first human resources company in Germany, Zenjob provides student employees with the option of signing temporary work contracts via their smartphone. The so-called "sign-me" electronic remote signature solution was developed by Bundesdruckerei.

With Zenjob, students can view part-time jobs directly on their smartphone in real time. Each confirmed job requires its own work contract. More than 34,000 work contracts were already printed at Zenjob in 2018 alone. "The introduction of the electronic signature is not only sustainable, but also offers our students a comfortable experience. As of now, contracts can be signed quickly and easily from anywhere by smartphone. With this, we offer our students even more flexibility in their daily life, " says Zenjob CEO Fritz Trott.

It is Zenjob’s vision to automate the process starting with recruiting right through to hiring, placement and contract processing for both businesses and users. "Thanks to the innovative capacity of Bundesdruckerei we are now a lot closer to our goal," says Trott.

It now takes users only seconds to sign a work contract on their smartphone

Sign-me is the first German remote signature solution on the market. Signing documents with sign-me is easy and fast: Users register once via the sign-me site and identify themselves using their german ID cards or the VideoIdent procedure. Following this, the digital work contract can be called up. The signee receives a mobile-text-message-TAN to their smartphone. The contract is then signed directly by entering the TAN and the signed temporary work contract returned to the employer. The signature complies with EU requirements thanks to two-factor authentication and is therefore legally valid. The qualified electronic signature is equal to a handwritten signature.

Zenjob is an on-demand staffing platform. The staffing service provider supplies companies in different sectors (such as logistics, events/concerts, retail, catering/hotel industry) with temporary student employees at short notice in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and Düsseldorf. Students can view opportunities for side jobs directly on their smartphone in real time and confirm jobs with just one click via the app. Zenjob was founded by Fritz Trott, Cihan Aksakal and Frederik Fahning. Cornelius Rantzau and Arvid Seeberg-Elverfeldt joined the team in 2017. The company has over 160 employees.
