Gerhard Heckmann now in charge of Public Relations

Breisach am Rhein / Germany, October 09, 2006 – Memorysolution GmbH announces that as of October 1, 2006 Gerhard Heckmann joined the company as new press officer. Gerhard will be in charge of the future European as well as international press relations and PR of Memorysolution GmbH.

“This step became necessary because my increased workload in my “natural” function as Managing Director of Memorysolution GmbH no more allowed for following up all press inquiries in an sufficient respectively always-satisfactory manner”, says Gerald Diercks, who since June 2006 leads the business alone.

Gerhard Heckmann holds a master’s degree (M.A.) in Communication Sciences / Journalism of the University of Munster / North Rhine Westphalia with a specialization in Corporate Communications and PR. He gained more than a decade of professional experience in different innovation driven environments such as the Chemical industry (Armstrong), Healthcare (Medex), IT / New Economy (ThyssenKrupp Information Services). The last post he assumed was PR Manager at the internationally operating Semiconductor manufacturer Micronas GmbH in Freiburg i.Br. / Germany. “We are proud to have won Gerhard as a PR professional highly conversant with the special requirements of our fast-paced industry”, so Diercks continues.

Gerhard Heckmann will act as central point of contact for the press, catering for all journalistic inquiries concerning Memorysolution GmbH, their products as well as the coordination requests for test samples and press images.
