Arch's Co-sharing Offices brings Seattle Charm to the Filipino WorkplaceMakati, Philippines --- Arch Offices, a Makati-based company that offers co-sharing office space solutions, has brought the allure of an office based in Seattle to their own workspace when it set up shop in November of 2015. The natural vibe of Seattle’s parks and forests is what inspired the hardwood floors, lush greenery and brick walls that make up the design of Arch.
The husband-and-wife team of Jamie and Carmen del Rosario-Booth are former Seattle residents who wanted a similar atmosphere of what they saw when they lived in the West Coast seaport city. “We wanted to bridge Seattle and Manila office environments,” says Jamie. “The Arch in our brand name is a symbolism of bridging the gap---like on a bridge over a body of water.”
Arch is located in the heart of the Makati Central Business District, occupying an entire floor of the Citibank Tower, with six private rooms, a meeting room, a common room and an open floor furnished with fully equipped workstations.
Design firm Heim Interiors was responsible for transforming the empty space into the Booths’ Seattle-inspired interiors. It follows a rustic color scheme of black, black and green, with a red-brick finish that deviates from the usual white, which Carmen explains is meant to keep their employees motivated.
The couple lists health and wellness at the top of their list, making the office spotless, with dispensers of hand sanitizers placed in the common room and reception area. They also encourage employees to bike to work, and has collaborated with Sprout, a Salcedo-based fresh convenience store owned by celebrity Erwan Heussaff, to offer discounts for employees.
Community building and employee engagement is also in the couple’s agenda at Arch. The office’s access to an open balcony that overlooks the Ayala Triangle and the rest of the Makati CBD area gives a relaxing view. This is the perfect place to occasionally hold after-work socials that involve music and drinks with the intent to foster a sense of community among employees.
The Arch Offices aims to break the mold through the creation of a new work environment focused on introducing a unique urban-inspired setting. We are located on the 20th floor, Citibank Center Building, 8741 Paseo de Roxas Avenue, Makati City, with branches on the 9th floor of the same building and on the 9th floor of the BPI Philam Life Building, 6811 Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
Established in 2015, ARCH Offices are Seattle inspired office spaces operating in Makati. The service offerings include Office Space & Desk leasing as well as Staff Leasing & other Outsourcing services in an urban community to support growing businesses. Located in the heart of Makati’s Central Business District, our office collective includes access to spaces with an urban inner-city vibe and complete amenities, giving you maximum flexibility with minimum maintenance.
