Remington College Cleveland Campus supports Bike MS: Buckeye Breakaway 2018

CLEVELAND (July 24, 2018) – Nonprofit Remington College-Cleveland Campus continues its partnership with National Multiple Sclerosis Society by helping its Bike MS: Buckeye Breakaway 2018 event.

To help raise awareness for MS, students, faculty, and staff will wear orange and donate $5 each. All proceeds will go to Bike MS: Buckeye Breakaway 2018. The college will also encourage students, faculty, and staff to volunteer in various pre-event positions, such as making routes for the bikers and helping set up and tear down on the day of the event.

Bike MS: Buckeye Breakaway 2018 takes place from August 4 to 5, 2018. Bikers can opt for the 35, 62, 75 or 100 mile ride. The race starts at Brunswick High School at 3581 Center Road. Those continuing on the two-day ride will overnight at Ashland University, where they will also be provided dinner and have a fun-filled party.

Multiple sclerosis is a disease in which the body’s immune system is directed against the central nervous system, damaging the myelin that surrounds nerve fibers. Symptoms include blurred vision, loss of balance, slurred speech, numbness, and more. There is no cure.
