TiE20 AWARD NOMINATIONS OPEN TO CELEBRATE THE ELITE 20 ENTREPRENEURS AND INNOVATORS
FARMINGTON HILLS , MICHIGAN, June 20, 2018-- The Detroit chapter of TiE, opened nominations today for its TiECon Detroit TiE20 Startup Awards, the hallmark event to identify and bring to spotlight the top 20 entrepreneurs and innovators. TiE20 Startup awards will be presented at TiECon Detroit’s annual conference on October 6, 2018 at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave, Novi, Michigan.TiE20 Awards acknowledges excellence among 20 Early Stage Startups. The five focus segments include Sensors / Electronics / IOT, Food / Health / Fitness, Fintech, Blockchain / AI / ML / DL and Manufacturing / In Vehicle Technologies / Mobility. “TiE 20 is a platform for all aspiring entrepreneurs,” said Luxmi Dutt Sharma, Chair TiE20 Detroit Startup Awards. Individuals, businesses, and organizations with a demonstrable business model, innovation, market viability that is a value add to the society, are invited to apply or nominate known startups for the elite Detroit TiE20 Startup Awards. The last date for nominations is July 15, 2018.
TiE20 finalists will be selected by a combination of evaluations, screenings and judging by successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, domain experts; and public polling. The TiE20 winners will have the opportunity to present their companies at the conference. Most importantly, they will get access to TiE’s powerful global entrepreneurial ecosystem that is dedicated to fostering and enhancing entrepreneurship.
