EXPO REAL PI 07: EXPO REAL 2006 expands again – More space and more exhibitors

10 percent increase: Approx. 1,550 companies from 35 countries will be exhibiting at EXPO REAL 2006
- High proportion of international exhibitors
- Countries use synergy benefits of joint presentations

Around 1,550 companies from 35 countries (as per August 2006) are expected to exhibit at EXPO REAL 2006. This represents an increase of around ten percent as compared to the last EXPO REAL in 2005 (1,415 exhibitors). 350 of the exhibiting companies this year come from outside Germany, thus accounting for a quarter of the space at the exhibition centre.

In terms of exhibition space, too, the event has expanded once more. When it takes place between 23 and 25 October 2006, the 9th International Exposition for Commercial Property will be taking up five exhibition halls, that´s 52,000 square metres of space, at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. This is over 20 percent more than at the last EXPO REAL. The rise is due to increasing demand from abroad, notably from the markets of eastern and southeastern Europe, the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates.

A number of cities and regions, but also private companies operating in the commercial real estate market will be exhibiting at national pavilions. Joint stands offer many benefits and synergies – they has greater impact value, for example, and visitors find such groupings of single markets very practical. EXPO REAL 2006 will feature pavilsions from the US, Austria, Albania, Kosovo, France, the Netherlands and a Nordic Pavilion with companies from Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Estonia. Companies from the United Arab Emirates and Italy will also be exhibiting at a joint stand.
