Hypotonia Market Revenue, Shares, Demand, Trend, Analysis and Forecasts To 2023
Market Scenario:Hypotonia is also known as floppy baby syndrome, or weakness of muscles and lack of muscle tone. There are two main types of hypotonia – Acquired hypotonia in which hypotonia develops after birth as the result of an underlying medical condition, injury or trauma; and congenital hypotonia in which hypotonia is present at birth. Hypotonia is a symptom rather than a condition. Major causes of hypotonia can either be neurological or non-neurological.
According to the World Health Organization estimates, neurological disorders are responsible for 4.5%-11% of all illnesses in the world including low or high income economies. This is far higher as compared to the number of respiratory ailments, gastrointestinal disorders, or cancers, and the burden is expected to increase further over the coming years.
