PRIMACON PFM 4024 5-D
This machine convinces through ist modular concept that allows an ideal adjustment to the targeted operation. Despite this, it covers an extensive range of applications in any configuration. The machine is distinguished by its extrem rigidity and low vibrating properties, great dynamics and insignificant inertia. It is suitable for simultaneous 5 facet processing. The tool performs the vertical and horizontal movement; the work piece performs the longitudinal and rotation movements. The modern machine and control concept corresponds with the highest requirements of accuracy, surface quality and productivity on the work piece. A compact design with excellent accessibility during use and service are inspiring.
The basic structure is similar to a table milling machine. The machine consists of the base frame that houses the milling module and the various peripheral modules. The machine bed and control platform are designed in sandwich construction of steel/concrete (HYDRPOLÒ) (regidity from steel, buffering from concrete). All axes are equipped with direct measuring systems. The highest measuring and positioning accuracy can only be achieved by this method. Machine bed and motors are liquid-cooled. The Lubrication of all tribological elements is applied for life. As machine control it is used the iTNC 530 by Heidenhain in its highest performing version. Screen, keypad and machine control panel are ergonomically arranged next to the sliding door.
Peripherals are preferably controlled by ProfibusDP. The milling spindle must be selected according to the intended use (refer to separate data sheet). All available spindels are suited for targeted interchanges and the use of 3D push-buttons. Tool changers with 80 (HSK 25 or 32) or 60 (HSK 40) tool locations are available depending on the spindle used. All functions are monitored by sensors. Setups are possible parallel to run times. The tool locations are arranged in 2 chain magazines that are located on top of each other. It is powered by a synchronous motor. The tool gripper is designed as a pneumatic dual gripper that moves over 3 electromotive positioning axes. The change process is prepared parallel to the run time. The automatic work piece changer, which can automatically exchange 6 to 24 work pieces, depends on the size of the work piece and the mounting system. The single gripper is pneumatically controlled and is moved by electromotive positioning axes. However, it is also possible to connect central work piece robots.
