Menufy Accepts Bitcoin Cash Payments at over 3,000 Restaurants

Menufy, an online food ordering company, announced today the availability of the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) cryptocurrency as a new payment option for customers at over 3,000 restaurants across the United States. Menufy has accepted Bitcoin (BTC) as a transaction medium since Q1 2014, in addition to all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Venmo.

"Bitcoin Cash offers a near-zero transaction cost, a crucial feature for an everyday currency" said Aleksandr Elesev, co-founder and cryptocurrency expert at Menufy. Until the implementation of the Lightning Network on top of the Bitcoin blockchain, Menufy recommends Bitcoin Cash as the cheaper form of payment for customers.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash payments to restaurants are processed through an integration with BitPay. BitPay is a leading global Bitcoin payment processor that provides tools for secure Bitcoin payment transactions. Founded in 2011, BitPay is currently used daily by hundreds of thousands of Bitcoin users.

Founded in 2009, Menufy offers mobile and online meal ordering to restaurant customers in over 800 US cities. Menufy provides digital menus from which customers can securely pay online with the most options available out of all restaurant e-commerce systems.
