Broadjam Musicians Promote Together
July 24, 2006, Madison, WI – Broadjam.com, a networking site for musicians and fans, along with its tens of thousands of members, is rallying to bring a throng of fans to its website in an attempt to increase music download sales. Broadjam members are uniting to promote and build the independent music community as a whole.“Promotion by the whole community is a great way for independent musicians to gain exposure and sell their music,” said Roy Elkins, Founder and CEO of Broadjam Inc. “It gives musicians a chance to multiply their fan base many times over.”
By driving traffic together, artist members will have a better chance of being discovered by new fans.
Broadjam members who are participating will send an email to fans, friends, family members, and fellow musicians on July 26, 2006. Their goal will be to encourage music lovers to visit Broadjam, buy downloads and check out great independent music. As an incentive for musicians to participate, the artist who sells the most downloads between July 26th and August 2nd will get to choose between $200 cash and a one-year premium Broadjam membership, which includes the company’s turnkey web hosting service. The top-selling artist will also be featured on the Broadjam website.
