Noztek Resin and Spool Dehydrator

A breakthrough product for 3D printing quality and efficiency with a unique solution to hydrolysis, dehydrating resin before extruding.

Further expanding their impressive range of professional extrusion products, Noztek have developed the Resin and Spool Dehydrator to solve common problems with polymer weakness, while maintaining the simple and user-friendly operation its customers have relied upon for years.

Ensuring a reliable and efficient experience and material throughout the 3D Printing process, Noztek's bespoke Dehydrator prepares the resin prior to extruding the filament, promising optimum quality for strength and surface, reducing waste of precious materials and time.

Hydrolysis occurs when moisture interferes with the material of the polymer, creating steam pockets when it is extruded which has negative impact on the durability of the filament and subsequently the surface quality of the 3D printed objects.

Inside the stylish casing sits the robust 3mm steel sheet chassis which retains its heat to maintain a constant internal temperature (up to 80℃ ), with integrated baffle to agitate the resin and allow for even drying. Filling and emptying is made easy thanks to the the quick removal system and sliding opening. The drum has a 2kg capacity which is easily rotated at 1rpm by the high torque motor.

The polymer is dried evenly by a powerful 1000w heater at the rear with a purpose built heating fan, the integrated in timer (up to 12h) ensures the resin is completely dry before use.

On the front face of the machine, a touch screen interface allows the user to set the temperature and time and then monitor both alongside the humidity throughout the running time.

Noztek's Resin and Spool Dehydrator can also be simply adapted to dry up to 4 print spools simultaneously, which can then be fed directly into the 3D printer.
