A Fire Department in Shanghai Receives ASIS 7.1M Amphibious Craft
Amongst the special specifications designed for their Amphibious crafts order were a wider tube with a diameter of 565 mm, an under-deck fuel and a Honda engine filled inside the console making it discrete and safer. A special drive-on trailer was also created especially for them.
The Amphibious craft is a boat with wheels that has been developed to ease the boat launching and retraction process. The boat with wheels has been designed to serve this purpose with a system that consists of motorized, retractable and steerable wheelspowering the boat with off-water capabilities.
The unique ability for ASIS to tailor the RIB to the customer needs, earned it a worldwide recognition for its boats. The amphibious technology is available as an upgrade option for all ASIS boats ranging from 5.1 meters to 12 meters and is available on both outboard and inboard powered boats.
