Skire, Inc. Improves Product Development and Enhancements Using Soffront Software

Fremont, California, September 21, 2009 – Soffront® Software Inc., soffront.com, the leader of mid-market CRM software, today announced that Skire, Inc. is using Soffront CRM to improve product development and enhancements. Skire, Inc. (www.skire.com) is the leading provider of capital program, facilities, real estate and project portfolio management software.

Skire, Inc. originally purchased Soffront CRM in 2003 and is using the product’s defect tracking module companywide. “Soffront allows us to stay on top of all product defects, as well as enhancements, “explained Sastry Hari, Director of SQA, Skire, Inc. “Without Soffront, it would be difficult for us to be responsive to our customers in terms of addressing defects and maintaining service level agreements.”

Skire, Inc. selected Soffront because it provided the company with robust functionality at a better cost than other solutions on the market. “Soffront delivers the same functionality as competing products with a better ROI. Ease of use and ease of deployment are also factors in Soffront’s favor,” continued Hari.

Numerous departments within Skire, Inc. use Soffront including quality assurance, product management, customer support, professional services, sales, and product marketing. “Soffront helps us track to closure all defects that are logged by our quality assurance group and other internal teams. We manage requirements from initiation through deployment. Additionally, we sometimes use the product to manage Service Pack and Hot Fix releases.”
Several features of Soffront CRM allow Skire, Inc. to save time and improve product development. “The Query manager, Query by Example, and Report Manager are extensively used in our company day in and day out. In addition, the feature that allows us to schedule reports enables us to send details to management during important phases of our product development.” Hari concluded, “Soffront CRM provides outstanding value because it is a straightforward, easy to learn tool with robust features.”
