MIAMI, FL – Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell attorney Jacey Kaps received confirmation as a Certified Circuit Court Mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida.

Kaps is a partner in the firm’s Miami office. He focuses his practice in the areas of casualty defense, commercial litigation, construction and product liability. Much of his practice is dedicated to clients within the retail industry.

A member of several professional organizations, he currently serves as Chairman of the Chairman’s Circle of the Florida Retail Foundation, and as an allied member of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association. He is also a member of The Florida Defense Lawyer’s Association and The American Bar Association. Kaps received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University School of Law and his B.A., with honors, from McGill University.
