Dallas Attorney Jeff Rasansky Recognized as One of Texas’ Top Lawyers
DALLAS – Dallas plaintiffs’ personal injury attorney Jeff Rasansky has earned a spot among state’s top lawyers in the 2009 Texas Super Lawyers list published in Texas Monthly magazine. Mr. Rasansky, founder of Dallas’ The Rasansky Law Firm, has earned this recognition each year since the Texas Super Lawyers list was first published in 2003.The annual Texas Super Lawyers listing highlights the state’s top attorneys as determined by a statewide survey published in the October issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Super Lawyers magazines.
“It is no doubt an honor to be selected by your peers as one of the top lawyers in a state with so many great lawyers,” says Mr. Rasansky. “I am definitely flattered that attorneys I work with and against recognize the good work our firm does for clients every day.”
To compile the Texas Super Lawyers list, more than 70,000 lawyers from across the state were asked to nominate attorneys they viewed as the best in the legal profession. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers then reviewed the nominees, and the final Texas Super Lawyers list recognizes fewer than 5 percent of all attorneys in the state.
Mr. Rasansky is widely considered among the country’s top personal injury attorneys, routinely earning recognition in local, statewide and national publications. He has been named one of the “Best Lawyers in Dallas” by D Magazine, as well as one of the “500 Leading Plaintiffs' Attorneys in America” by Lawdragon, a quarterly publication and online guide to the country's top lawyers.
After earning his law degree from the Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1990, Mr. Rasansky joined a downtown Dallas firm where he learned the legal tactics used by large insurance companies, hospitals and nursing homes. In 1994, he formed The Rasansky Law Firm. Since then, his firm exclusively has represented individuals in cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, products liability, overtime pay, and serious vehicle accidents.
