Kurt Krautheim Joins Shipkevich PLLC As Of Counsel

Kurt Krautheim has joined Shipkevich PLLC as of counsel today, assisting the firm's litigation practice and expanding its Fintech practice in regulatory work concerning Fintech companies, virtual currency and ICO based in Switzerland and other European jurisdictions.

Mr. Krautheim comes to Shipkevich with an extensive background in civil disputes , and particular experience in construction, fraud, contracts, and business litigation. In addition to handling civil disputes, Kurt advises domestic and international business clients in legal matters ranging from the initial formation of their enterprises, to assisting them with their employment contracts, consulting agreements, vendor contracts, and trademark issues. 

Kurt Krautheim works with domestic and international companies to identify key areas where litigation risk is high and develop practical strategies to mitigate or eliminate those risks. These strategies often include the design and implementation of effective employment and compliance policies, internal controls, and documentation procedures.

A Philadelphia native, Mr. Krautheim is admitted to practice law in both state and federal courts in New York and practices as a foreign legal consultant in Zürich, Switzerland.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Krautheim worked for a complex litigation firm, assisting with class actions and commercial disputes in state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, California, and Florida.

In his life prior to becoming a lawyer, Kurt served as adjunct professor of classical piano at a Florida college.
