Press release from: Algoworks

Algoworks witnessed a colorful and fun-filled celebration this Holi, as “Algoworks Superstars” was back with season 2. Holi, the festival of ‘colors’ is celebrated loudly across where people play with colors and enjoy festive delicacies like gujiya, thandai, sweets, and more.

Algoworks’ office was decked up with pretty decorations, and the floral fragrance of ‘gulaal’ lingered in the air. Employees were seen passionately rehearsing for their acts and performances for the evening. ‘Algoworks Superstars’ kick-started as Algoworks’ activity area got jam-packed with all the spectators.

There were acts of various kinds. Those found coding or discussing algorithms usually were now busy gearing up to perform skills. Five minutes was the maximum time for each act. Performances included singing, mimicry, skit acts, stand-up comedy, musical instrument acts, dance performances and paintings. A beautiful painting sketched live in five minutes seem like an impossible act. But Saloni Gupta did it which won her the third prize. The artist surprised the likes of one and all. Nav Bhushan Singh stood second with his melodious singing of fifteen songs compiled on a single beat, surprising the judges panel. The star of the evening was Nauman Ahmad who walked away as the ultimate Algoworks Superstar bagging the first prize. Rather skilfully, he brought to life the character of Devdas played by Shah Rukh Khan in the movie Devdas. The intensity of his acting stunned the audience and judges alike, filling the place with applauds giving the event the perfect end it deserved.

Later, everyone gathered up for color play in the premises, where everyone celebrated with gulaal and danced to the beats of iconic Holi songs. Snacks and refreshments were served followed by group photograph and everyone bid adieu to each other before leaving for the weekend.
