Alpha Destination Management Confirms its Presence at ITB Berlin 2018

Alpha Destination Management is all set for a strong presence at the 52nd ITB Berlin. Taking place in Germany from 7 to 11 March 2018, ITB is the world’s leading annual travel trade exhibition that brings together over 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries. With a focus on Luxury Travel this year, the event is expected to attract more than 110,000 trade visitors from across the world.
Mr. Samir Hamadeh, General Manager of Alpha Destination Management, said, “ITB Berlin is one of the most significant trade shows in our calendar. The German market continues to perform well and is among the top ten source markets into our destination. Therefore, it will be interesting to see the global industry trends emerging in luxury travel at ITB”.

Elaborating on the company’s expansion strategy, Mr. Hamadeh said, “Alpha strategy is not to go for new source markets to seek new business but to target specific niche segments in existing markets such as seniors, special needs, etc to boost business. We believe certain niche areas such as the seniors’ segment which is worth billions of dollars globally have been underestimated, and if we design the right packages for them they will be far more valuable than the mass markets.”
