Press release from: MagnaQuest Technologies

Hyderabad, India, March, 2009: MagnaQuest, a leading BSS & OSS solution provider announced that it has successfully helped the emerging ISP, Beam Telecom to automate & centralize its operations and deliver excellent customer service.

Beam Telecom has replaced its existing solution with MQSubscribe, a leading BSS solution from MagnaQuest. MQSubscribe will be used to rate and bill multiple services including Residential & Corporate Internet. Integrated with BRAS (Broadband Remote Access Sever), MQSubscribe can centrally manage Service activation and deactivation, Rating, Billing and Customer Care. Also with this, Beam Telecom can address scalability challenges in addition to launching services like IPTV, Bandwidth on Demand and VoIP in the near future.

Brijesh Chandwani, Managing Director of Beam Telecom , said, “The existing solution was not scalable and required separate systems to manage customer care, billing and collections. Month end billing was very complex,as huge efforts had to go in consolidating information from various systems to generate bills. In addition support from the existing vendor was a concern. Hence we have replaced it with MagnaQuest who kept their promise and enabled us to deliver excellent service to our customers”.

“Beam Telecom has outgrown its existing solution and we had to migrate subscribers provisioned on several distributed boxes which was a challenge. We are happy to see our customer being able to accurately bill multiple services, provide excellent customer service and compete effectively with large Telcos offering broadband”, said Mr. Vijay Debbad, CEO of MagnaQuest.
