Online Bingo Portal Bingo on the Internet Launches Free Subscription Service

Press release from: Bingo on the Internet

Online bingo portal Bingo on the Internet has announced that its subscription service will be completely free of charge as from today. Last month the Internet bingo web site started testing the new technology, and as of today it is being rolled out to provide all of its visitors with instant news about the latest promotions in the bingo industry internationally.

Bingo on the Internet's Chief Operating Officer Sally Deakin told us "We've been getting excited about this for a while now. We knew the possibilities were there because we were aware of new media like RSS feeds. What we've done is to combine these across all our brands and into one easily accessible format.

"The decision to make this free to our visitors was not a difficult one to make", said Deakin. "The overheads of this new technology are minimal, so we'll be passing the benefits on to all our members". The online bingo portal stressed that market research was important in reaching their decision.

"We tested this across a random sample last month and found that the preferred medium was email, as that was what Bingo on the Internet members are used to, but there are facilities to implement RSS feeds if people request that instead.

"What we find exciting is the technology this uses", she went on. "It will enable our visitors to get the latest tournaments which they can then play wherever they are. Combine this with WAP wireless technology, for example, and you're waving goodbye to the miseries of the long commute."

Bingo on the Internet is an independently owned online bingo portal featuring 24 well-established online bingo brands. The new subscription service, called The Shout, will be available in email and RSS formats and visitors can sign up for the service directly from the web site at http://www.bingo-on-the-internet.com from today.

Sally Deakin is an Internet marketer and technologist working in the online bingo field. She is presently COO of http://www.bingo-on-the-internet.com which is an online bingo portal.
