The Diode Lasers business unit of Jenoptik’s Lasers & Material Processing division now offers, aside from the previously available standard range of bars and single emitters, a cost-effective alternative to bars for medical applications such as hair removal.
With an optical output power of 20 watts from a bar with a resonator length of 0.6 mm, the customer profits not only from an attractive price and optimized lifetime for specific usage, but also from the high level of quality for which the products of the Jenoptik brand are renowned.
In addition to the characteristics optimized for medical applications, the bars are also suitable for pump appliactions for solid-state lasers with low power.

With our new product JDL-BAB-30-19-808-TE-20-0.6, we meet the needs of our customers for high quality at a low price. The start of series production is planned for the third quarter of 2009.

As such, Jenoptik has control over the entire added value chain for laser material processing in the form of development, manufacture and sales and is a reliable global partner for the customer.

The division comprises the two diode laser companies JENOPTIK Diode Lab GmbH and JENOPTIK Laserdiode GmbH, the Laser Systems business unit of JENOPTIK Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH as well as INNOVAVENT GmbH and JENOPTIK Automatisierungstechnik GmbH.
