At http://holidaysitaly.wordpress.com travellers to Italy find actual information about Umbria and the neighbouring regions Tuscany, Marche and Latio.
Special attention is given of course to everything around the Trasimeno Lake as well as to Perugia, Assisi and their surroundings.
Urlauber erfahren aktuell welche Dorffeste (die sogenannten Sagre), Konzerte oder sonstige kulturelle, bzw. naturkundliche Veranstaltungen gerade stattfinden.
Tourists will get information about local festivals (the so called “Sagre”), concerts (for example the “Tuscan Sun” concerts at Cortona or Trasimeno Blues), about historical reevocations (like the “Festa dei Barbari” at Castel Rigone) and about other cultural events or excursions into the incontaminated nature of the Trasimeno Lake.
Apart of this there will be some help how to pronounce correctly Italian words, interesting things around Italian cuisine and some secret tipps that can hardly be found in normal travel guides.
