MLC PR SIGNS HEAD AMERICAN IDOL COSTUME DESIGNER SOYON AN

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 14, 2009)— MLC PR announced today that costumer designer Soyon An has signed on for their services to promote her work on the hot, FOX television shows American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. An, who has worked on seasons two and four, is currently working on season five of So You Think You Can Dance. In addition, she is also designing on the American Idol tour, after being a costume designer on seasons six and eight of the hit show.

Soyon An has styled for various projects with celebrities such as Pink, Mariah Carey, Kate Bosworth, Mia Maestro, and Avril Lavigne and designed for Forever 21’s high-end clothing line, Twelve.

Since beginning her work with 19 Entertainment, Soyon has assisted for season two and designed for season four of “So You Think You Can Dance,” designed season one of “Superstars of Dance,” designed for a feature film called “Shoot the Hero,” and was recently a head costume designer on “American Idol’s” past season eight. She’s also designed three tours (seasons 2,3, 4 with 5 to come) for “So You Think You Can Dance” including a tour in Canada and the tour for season six of American Idol with Jordin Sparks. She is currently designing for “So You Think You Can Dance” season five this summer while designing for the current American Idol tour (season eight with Kris Allen and Adam Lambert).

So You Think You Can Dance airs on FOX on Wednesdays at 8/7c and the results show airs Thursdays at 9/8c.
