Cymbalta is manufactured by Eli Lilly and Co. The drug accounted for about 22% of the company’s sales in 2012. The patent for the drug has been expired in 2013 and is available for manufacture of generic version. Savella is manufactured by Forest Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and its patent expires in 2021. Lyrica is manufactured by Pfizer and the exclusivity period has been recently extended till 2018. The drug had generated USD 3.7 billion sales in 2011.
