With an ideology to serve the global audience one of the best teas of Assam three entrepreneurs from Assam has launched their brand AASMAH Tea. Their motto is - cup that cheers should be the cup that is available to all.
They propose to bring the very freshness and aroma that leaves any tea over with the tender feel of AASM aka Assam and an AAH… of satisfaction. The two words amalgamation creates the beautiful name AASMAH.
Founded, by the trio Assamese entrepreneurs Ritvik Saikia, Manas Das and Gourab Hazarika with hopes of seeing a packet of AASMAH tea in every Indian kitchen. Want to take the freshness and quality of the Assam tea out to the masses in India.
Speaking to Gaurav we came to know , Gaurav belongs to a family which had worked in Tea sector. Graduated in Economics and a Master degree in Business Economics with a diploma in Finance and Marketing. He is well experience working in projects with FICCI and Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd., New Delhi. When the idea of tea start up influenced him quiet a lot in starting up with the idea of a new blend of tea that suits common people's taste and preference.
Other hand Ritvik, who comes from an illustrious family of the country's Northeast is an Honours Graduate in Economics with post Graduation in Management and Marketing, known widely for his innovative ideas and imaginative skills. Starting with a short initial marketing stint in the corporate Middle East, he has gone places as a Leather & Garments Exporter reaching out to the distant countries and continents. He believes in commerce of one another’s finest cultural and economic wealth amongst the societies for enhancement of human life and naturally finds in AASMAH great promises of a wonderful breakthrough in this respect.
While Manas Das is a Bachelor in Computer science he looks after the operations of the company. As a tea lover himself he had a neck of good tea which pulled him to the concept of AASMAH.

Under the banner of the Company - Hues Of Green LLP. AASMAH has got two variants at present - POPULAR and PREMIUM.
With two catchy taglines their the POPULAR - Assam Se Aah Tak
And the PREMIUM - Every leaf has a story to tell has its own magic.
AASMAH also plans to launch more variants like green tea, flavoured tea in future.
Interestingly, not only the common household has the privilege to buy the tea ,AASMAH is also available from the remotest village kirana store to the malls in the metros.
As AASMAH caters to the lowest BPL audience with its cheap Rs1/-, Rs.5/- etc pouches.
The company right now is operating from Gurgaon .
Almost every tea companies source their tea from Assam and then transport it to its factories in UP, Delhi, Noida, Gujarat and then blend and package it. AASMAH is blended and packaged in Assam itself which keeps the freshness intact as there is minimum warehousing and transit time.
This brand is trying to provide highest quality tea at the most economical rates, with no colours and additives, which many companies are using to enhance colour.
Major markets catering to are Delhi, Bihar, UP, some parts of Haryana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, etc. Gradually expanding and penetrating pan india.
“We have received very good feedback from customers regarding the highest quality at such economical prices and have also got suggestions to launch more variants very fast. No compromise on quality whatsoever” says Ritvik Saikia.

During the last fiscal (2015-16)India has produced 36 million, riding on 7 per cent production growth in Assam, which contributes half of the country’s total tea output. India produces some of the finest tea samples growing in the hills of Darjeeling and valleys of Assam, most of it are reserved for export market by. Mainly the exotic variety of tea bags and leaves are seen on market shelves are either by two or three of the big tea companies, that have created a niche in the market, or from some outside brands that have repackaged the produce from India and are selling it in higher rates.
The new Tea start ups are now bridging this gap between the tea producers and consumers which is a good news for both tea lovers and buyers as it also widens the variants and availability of good tea.

Hues Of Green LLP is a Limited Liability Partnership company with its registered office and factory in Guwahati, Assam. It sources the tea directly from the gardens of Assam and blends it to suit the tastes of the particular regions it caters to.
