Food and Beverage Ingredient Manufacturer to Support Growth Initiatives with DEACOM ERP Software System

(deacom.net) today announces that California Custom Fruits & Flavors, Inc., a manufacturer of custom formulated processed fruits, flavors, and bases for the dairy, bakery, beverage, and food service industries, will implement the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software System to support the company's growth strategy.

For more than 20 years, Irwindale, CA-based California Custom Fruits & Flavors has been supplying ingredients to national food brands throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia, and Central America for products such as yogurt, ice cream, cereal bars, cookies, sodas, and sports drinks. The privately-owned business was using customized software on a UNIX platform to manage its business prior to selecting food processing software from Deacom.

Additionally, the DEACOM Shop Floor Data Collection System will allow the manufacturer to bar code lots and use hand-held scanners to easily trace materials throughout its three warehouse locations. In total, the company expects DEACOM's inventory management functionality will help it significantly increase its inventory turns.
