SUGARWALL RELEASES NEW ALBUM AND ANNOUNCES UPCOMING 2009 SHOW DATES

Los Angeles, CA (June 8, 2009) —Sugarwall recently has reemerged with new members, a new sound and a new outlook on rock music. Now, bursting out of the L.A. music scene, comes a reinvented Sugarwall. They will hit the road in support of their recently released album, “Find A Way” to be released physically or digitally on June 23, 2009. With notable tracks such as “Missed You,” “Better Days,” “Video Star,” and “Nothing,” the album is anticipated to become one of the most fresh and solid rock records to come along this year.

Of the album creation process bassist Rick Barrio Dill shares, "Making this record was heartfelt in so many ways. The different perspectives of each member turned out to be a blessing in that it defined our niche in a way that far exceeded our expectations. The end result wound up being something we were all so blown away by, it truly feels like we captured something special."

Sugarwall’s sound is cast in the tradition of old school rock fused with vintage soul, hints of country, and a modern edge that truly delivers a sonic slant all their own. After touring the Midwest in 2008, Sugarwall parted ways with their lead singer and new bassist Rick Barrio Dill was asked to help find a replacement. Without any hesitation, he called upon a close friend, Tampa local, Ronnie Dee. Ronnie contributed a fresh new perspective to the music and from there, the two worked on re-recording and re-writing the material. Once the music was revamped, Rick added the final touches by subsequently producing and mixing what is now the band’s new LP, “Find A Way.” Think Matchbox 20 meets Rascal Flatts and Sheryl Crow crossed with Train. Their sound is cast in the tradition of old school rock fused with vintage soul, hints of country, and a modern edge that truly delivers a sonic slant all their own.
