The idea:
The amniotic fluid simulation amniosan Gel has been developed in the practice of a German pediatrician: Dr. Michael Rochel is the former head of department at Taunusklinik in Falkenstein, has more than 30 years of working experience; amongst others in the university hospitals in Mainz and Heidelberg and runs his own practice in Koenigstein near Frankfurt since 1996.

amniosan Gel is the first skin care simulating the amniotic fluid – whereas newborns almost always have perfect skin, from the age of 3 to 4 months babies often suffer from skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis and eczema. When Dr. Rochel first recognized this pattern, he began researching the cause and took a closer look at the components of the amniotic fluid.
He found that it contains hyaluronic acid which is known to accelerate wound healing. From this moment on Dr. Rochel was sure: It is no coincidence that newborns see the light of day with perfect skin.

The product:
After years of intensive testing and product development the amniotic fluid simulation is now available within the European Union as amniosan Gel. It contains the innovative combination of hyaluronic acid and sea salt which stabilizes the irritated skin’s protective barrier, neutralizes moisture loss and thus helps to deal with the discomfort of the complex disease pattern of neurodermatitis and psoriasis.

Apart from the philosophy of simulating amniotic fluid, amniosan Gel has been developed without any ingredients which could irritate sensible skin. Thus, amniosan Gel is free from any preservatives, emulsifiers, coloring agents, silicone, mineral oils (paraffins) and perfumes.
