cerboMed appoints Christoph A. Bally as Chief Executive Officer
Erlangen, Mai 30, 2009. cerboMed GmbH, a medical device company focused on innovative neurostimulation technologies, has appointed Christoph Bally as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).cerboMed GmbH from Erlangen, Germany, announces today that Christoph Bally has been appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer in order to further strengthen the existing management team of the two company founders, Stefan Dietrich and Timo Freitag.
Christoph Bally will be able to contribute to the company’s future development and success based on his experience from the Life Science industry. During his career spanning over close to 20 years, the 44-years old Swiss citizen has been able to collect experiences in Diagnostics, Pharma and Medical Devices with different companies including Serono, Schering-Plough, Disetronic and Roche. Prior to being the co-founder and CEO of a Nutri-Technology company in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2003, Mr. Bally held a Vice-President position with Roche overseeing Global Program Management and Strategic Planning of Roche’s insulin pump division acquired from Disetronic Medical Systems. He had spent 6 years with Disetronic contributing to its growth in various Senior Management positions in Global Marketing, Business Development and as the General Manager in France.

Christoph Bally holds a degree in economics and an MBA and has been dealing with various medical disciplines during his past career. Beside Marketing, General Management and Strategic Planning, he also had the opportunity to manage interdisciplinary teams in technology-oriented companies. Mr. Bally is married and father of two children.
