Practice Solutions and Intelliware Development connect for the Interoperability Showcase at the e-Health 2009 Conference in Quebec City
Toronto, Canada. June 1, 2009 – Practice Solutions and Intelliware Development Inc. are pleased to announce their participation in the Interoperability Showcase at e-Health 2009 taking place May 31 to June 3 in Quebec City.The Practice Solutions clinical management system will be profiled in the Interoperability Showcase at e-Health demonstrating how their key application (PS Suite) passes data from clinical scenarios from one health system to another. Practice Solutions worked with Intelliware Development to provide the integration and product development services required to enable interoperability of the Practice Solutions system for the Interoperability Showcase. “The opportunity to work with Practice Solutions and to leverage our expertise with standards-based interoperability, e-Health systems integration and specifically HL7v3, is significant for us given their position in the e-Health marketplace”, says Greg McKenzie, SVP e-Health, with Intelliware Development. “We are excited to be participating in the Showcase and to have the opportunity to demonstrate additional capabilities related to interoperability as a result of the expertise and product development services provided to us by Intelliware”, says Shawn Millin, VP Product Management, Practice Solutions.
The e-Health Interoperability Showcase is a demonstration of e-Health applications found in a range of healthcare settings. A clinical scenario is used to guide e-Health Conference attendees through a tour of the systems – allowing them to see how clinical data is passed from one system to another facilitating improved patient care.
