Aspire Systems celebrates Ethnic Week - ‘GalaMores’.

GalaMores spreads the message of unity and peace during Ethnic week.

Chennai, April 30, 2009: 21st – 26th of April 2009 saw Aspire Systems, India’s leading outsourced product development company, decorated in the tri-colours of the National Flag. ‘GalaMores’, the ethnic week celebrations at Aspire is a week marked for every Aspirian to pay tribute to their culture and India and GalaMores 2009 spread the true message of ‘Unity in Diversity’ and created a patriotic environment for the Aspirians.

Aspire saw four days of ‘Indian’ celebration with each day revolving around the tri-colour of the National flag and the value each colour carries ; Orange – Sacrifice, White – Truth and Green – Faith. Aspirians were even welcomed with sweets of those respective colours. Games were conducted throughout the week and even the rangoli, at the entrance, was put in tri-colours. An extra ingredient which added to the spice of the occasion was that Aspirians came dressed in the respective tri-colours each day !

The last day of GalaMores witnessed Aspirians dressed ethnically and the one who depicted his / her roots the best, got crowned Ms. Ethnic and Mr. Ethnic. The evening also saw a small celebration of pure masti, music and other cultural programmes.

On the occasion of GalaMores, Gowri Shankar Subramanian, CEO, Aspire Systems, said “Every year, the third week of April is celebrated as the Ethnic Week at Aspire and this is the third year we are celebrating ethnicity. This year GalaMores spread the message of truth, sacrifice and faith towards the motherland. This also gives Aspirians a sense of belonging and helps stay united even at work.”
