New Soccer Augmented Reality Game Promises to Be a Thrilling App
Earlier this month, a representative from BBIT-Solutions revealed the studio’s plans to launch a Crowd Funding campaign to finance the development of “SoccAR”, a virtual soccer game that incorporates Augmented Reality (AR) technology. As stated by the lead game designer, Benjamin Bayer, no special equipment will be required to play the game and there will be full multiplayer support from day one. Moreover, players will be able to manipulate the environment within the game by interacting with physical objects in the real world. For example, the user will be able to alter the position or orientation of the virtual “stadium” by moving or rotating the flat surface that has been digitally enhanced by the application.
