The Free Tours Platform Guruwalk created a tour about the famous series Stranger Things
Valencia, October 26, 2017 - Thanks to the release of its second season, fans will now be able to walk with a local guide through some of the most emblematic places of the serie.
The Netflix series Stranger Things, which was so successful at its release last year, is about to start its second season on October 27. For this reason, the Spanish start-up Guruwalk created a free tour making possible for the fans to discover some of the scenes of the series. This tour takes place where the series is recorded, namely the city of Jackson (called Hawkins in the series) in the state of Georgia.
With the enthusiasm of a guide passionate about the series, travelers will be able to enter and experience the series from the inside. Thanks to its eighties aesthetic, its nostalgic references and its plots full of mystery and paranormal effects, this series is already considered by many a cult one.
Every Saturday, at 8pm, travelers will be able to visit places such as the library, the abandoned quarry, the courts or the police station and pay for the tour according to their degree of satisfaction.
It is not the first time that this startup promotes a tour related to a series. Last September, the start-up indeed promoted a free tour based on another Netflix series with the goal of demystifying the character of Pablo Escobar.
Guruwalk is the first international community of free tours allowing anyone to share their local experiences with travelers from all over the world. Based on the principles of the collaborative economy and completely free of charge, Guruwalk's main mission is to become a source of income for those who wish to work in developing countries, even if there are tours available in every part of the world.
