Delticom: More online shops for pros

Delticom AG, Hanover – 5th of May 2009 – Europe's leading online tyre dealer Delticom increases the number of his online shops for pros. From now, garages and traders in Europe and the USA can acquire their tyres from 22 web shops.

Last year, in 2008, eight online shops were launched in Poland, the Czech Republic, in Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Portugal, Ireland and the USA. The latest addition: In April 2009, a Norwegian shop was opened at www.dinedekk.com.

Resourced with the "parent competence" of Europe's by far largest Internet tyre dealer, the web shops supply professional traders and garages with nearly all tyre brands – amongst others the profitable own brand such as e.g. Star Performer and Goodride, exclusively distributed for nearly all Europe – in all segments*; including automobile tyres, light truck tyres, truck tyres, motorcycle tyres, motor scooter tyres, SUV tyres, four-by-four tyres and special tyres. More than 100 tyre brands and more than 25,000 tyre types are available; in addition, automobile replacement parts and accessories are also on offer. Advantage: Packaging and postage costs are included. At Delticom, great value is placed on the high quality standard of the product as well as on the comprehensive service. Thus, amongst others there are advisors speaking the relevant local languages available in the countries. Furthermore, customers can count on a high delivery capacity, even at peak times.

Delticom - a firm grip on the road to success

Delticom AG has been in business as a tyres wholesaler since 1999, and since 2000 has also been operating as an online tyre dealer. In the e-commerce field, the Delticom group uses its 102 online shops in 35 countries (Europe, USA and Japan) to provide private and business customers with a product programme which, depending on the prevailing respective market conditions, consists of all or part of the following product mix: car tyres, motor cycle tyres, lorry tyres, industrial tyres, bus tyres, appropriate wheel rims, complete wheel sets (rims with tyres), selected car spare parts and accessories, motor oils and batteries.

In accordance with customer wishes, delivery is either made directly to the customer, to one of the service partners, these being garages with a cooperation agreement with Delticom some of which accept direct delivery of tyres to be fitted to the customer’s vehicle, or to any other delivery address on request.

In the wholesale business area, the Delticom group also sells tyres to wholesalers and major retailers both domestically and abroad.
