Die Open Source Monitoring Conference (OSMC) richtet sich vorrangig an Administratoren, Entwickler und Entscheider aus dem OS Umfeld. Das breit aufgestellte Konferenzprogramm bietet sowohl Einsteigern, als auch langjährigen Branchenkenner die Option, sich aktiv mit Themen bezüglich Open Source Monitoring auseinander zu setzen.
Am ersten Konferenztag besteht die Möglichkeit an einem von 4 Workshops teilzunehmen, Restkarten gibt es nur noch für „Ansible – Configuration Management“
Am letzten Konferenztag wird es wegen des großen Erfolges in den Vorjahren wieder einen Hackathon geben, bei dem die Teilnehmer auch herzlich dazu eingeladen sind, eigene Vorschläge mit einzubringen und eigenständig an kleinen eigenen Projekten zu arbeiten. Mit Open NMS, Mgmt Config, Zabbix, Elastic und Icinga stehen hier bereits alle Themen fest. Die Anmeldung zum Hackathon erfolgt über die offizielle Konferenzwebsite.
Den Kern der Konferenz bilden die Vorträge am 22. Und 23. November. Aufgegliedert in die vier Themenbereiche Project, Technology und User-Story wird hier ein breites Spektrum abgedeckt. Mit dabei sind dieses Jahr hochklassige Referenten wie Alba Ferri Fitó von Vodafone, Caleb Hailey von Sensu sowie Kris Buytaert von Inuits.
Die Open Source Monitoring Conference zieht jährlich über 300 Open Source Enthusiasten aus aller Welt nach Nürnberg und ist die größte Konferenz auf diesem Gebiet. Alle Informationen zur Konferenz, sowie die letzten Tickets sind unter www.osmc.de erhältlich
