Asia-Pacific is the fastest growing region in the agrigenomics market with increasing government investment in the field of genomics and export of crops. In Japan, research in the field of agrigenomics is also growing as research institutes and industry players merge to unwind complex genomic profiles. In November 2016, NRGene was the first organization to assemble the genome structure of a commercially grown strawberry.
