emPower eLearning Solutions Acquires Cosaint Inc.
LOUISVILLE, KY, October 16, 2017We at emPower Solutions Inc. are excited to announce that we have acquired Cosaint Inc., a privately-held company incorporated in Washington state in 2001, and headquartered in Mount Vernon, WA. The company develops information security education solutions with a focus on online security awareness training for end-users.
emPower Solutions Inc. is headquartered in Louisville, KY and has a team of 30+ people actively working in the field of eLearning and Compliance training.
Cosaint had collaborated with emPower for a number of years on content development, sales and support projects. emPower is ideally placed to continue Cosaint’s mission to educate and serve all of Cosaint’s customers, and to grow the business with new courses and delivery options.
Mike McCrea, the CEO of Cosaint mentioned that “We plan to make this transition as smooth as possible with minimal, if any impact. The official cut over date is August 31, but we have already been working together and will continue to do so beyond that date. We have utmost confidence in emPower’s abilities to take the training portals to heights far beyond what we had envisioned”
Hardik Parikh, the CEO of emPower Solutions mentioned “With this acquisition, emPower will continue its mission to help its customer train all the employees on various compliance areas. Cosaint’s addition will bolster the emPower’s offerings and make the solution even more robust, secure and cost-effective.”
