The chemical name of Amyl Cinnamic Aldehyde is α- amyl cinnamic aldehyde and has a peculiar jasmine fragrance. Amyl cinnamic aldehyde is extensively used in the production of perfumes where it generates a jasmine-like floralness when more volatile chemicals of floral character are added to it.
