Visibility Corporation to Provide Volunteering Opportunities to Conference Goers at the VIEC in New Orleans

BOSTON – Attendees of the Visibility International Enterprise Conference (VIEC) will show how to “Connect, Inspire and Achieve” through a community outreach project in New Orleans on April 16th. They will be assisting the Recovery School District of Louisiana (RSDLA) in their efforts to rebuild and maintain the schools of New Orleans.

After months of planning and working directly with the RSDLA to organize this outreach project, the details are falling into place and everyone is very excited. The timing of this project is perfect as it will take place during the week that New Orleans students are on April vacation. Upon their return, children will be greeted by freshly painted classrooms. In addition to the outreach project, Visibility Corporation and Visibility International Enterprise Conference attendees will be donating books to outfit classrooms and school libraries with greatly needed books. Deborah Morton, from the RSDLA volunteering department stated, “We are absolutely grateful to your organization to think of us and take personal time to give back to the community during your visit.

Transportation as well as lunch will be provided and community outreach t-shirts will be handed out at the start of the event. Volunteers will ride a yellow school bus and don their t-shirts while painting at the New Orleans Free Academy elementary school.
