Exploring Solutions into Aseptic Manufacturing and Patient Needs Through the Hands-on, End-user Experience of Barts Health Pharmaceuticals

SMi Group will welcome the expertise of Orla Downes, Head of Business Development from Barts Health Pharmaceuticals, when she presents novel solutions into aseptic manufacturing next January at the 10th annual European conference on Pre-Filled Syringes in Central London.

With a focus on formulation viscosity, the talk will provide guidance on mitigating challenges during aseptic filling of viscous formulations in pre-filled syringes. Highlights from the presentation will also include answers to common user problems through human centred design with further insight into human factors.

Trained as a Scientist, Orla has over 13 years' experience working in Aseptic Manufacturing and currently sits on the National Pharmacy Production Committee.
